Claire Boucle Dining Chair

Claire Bouclé Dining Chair — Curved Open Back, Tapered Legs

- The Claire is a dining chair with real shape to it. The back curves all the way round into a pair of low arms, with an open cut-out between them — so it wraps gently around you as you sit, while staying light and airy rather than bulky. It reads as considered from every angle, which matters for a chair seen from behind as often as from the front.

It’s upholstered in a soft white bouclé — the looped, textured weave that brings warmth and tactility to a dining room, and catches the light so the white has depth rather than looking flat. A chair that pairs easily with an oak, ash or walnut table.

Comfort is built into the shape: the wraparound back supports you where a straight back doesn’t, the low arms give you somewhere to rest, and the padded seat makes it a chair to settle into for a long dinner. Around a table it adds texture and softness; on its own, it works just as well as a bedroom or corner chair.
